The Thomas Malthus Foundation:
Defending our future at any cost.
By Neifl Ghostdance
"The Thomas Malthus Foundation" is a non-profit
organization with a rich history of promoting sustainable
development through agricultural regulation, ecological
preservation, and extreme population control. We seek a
society in which we can live in balance with nature, rather
than in competition with it. As the Reverend Thomas Malthus
taught, the population of a society will increase
geometrically, while the ability to produce food and other
resources will only increase arithmetically. This means that
any civilization planning to expand its influence will
inevitably run into shortfall, causing mass starvation,
anarchy, and cultural degeneration. We propose to accomplish
this goal on three fronts:
Agricultural Regulation: Any society that produces a surplus
of food will by necessity birth enough children to consume all
of it. However, by the time the population has increased to
meet the food supply, the ability to produce food will have
improved, and it will once again increase its birth rate.
Because the population increases faster than the food supply,
as this cycle continues, we will eventually meet a point of no
return. We will face famines which will return us to a
sustainable number, and choke the lands with our dead. The
Thomas Malthus Foundation is deeply commited to keeping the
food supply at a minimum, and bringing justice to any that
would waste this resource rather than cherish it.
Ecological Preservation: In order for a civilization to be
sustainable over long periods of time, the ecological
environment must remain diverse and pure. Biodiversity and
ecological health must be of the highest importance: when the
environment prospers, society prospers. The Foundation is
committed to eliminating poachers, polluters, and those who
would strip the land of its resources for the sake of
capitalism. These dregs of society must be stopped by any
means necessary.
Population Control: For a society to maximize its
productivity, longevity, and happiness, the population of a
society must keep in lock-step with its resource production.
Population growth, if allowed to go unchecked, will only
result in famine, disease, and war. For this reason, constant
monitoring of cultural demographics is a must. If necessary,
The Thomas Malthus Foundation is prepare to eliminate those
sectors of the population who jeopardize the ratio of resource
to biomass. The future of society must be protected above all
else.
