1

An unusual (Unpublished) anonymous tiny Islamic coin depicting a Hindu Deity on obverse and Kalima (Rendition of Islamic faith) on reverse. Kalima inscribed on the reverse is same as on early Siestan type Arab Sassani coins, viz "Muhammad Rasul Allah" (Muhammad is the messenger of Allah), and the arrangement on this coin is bottom to top. The calligaphic style is that of the Habbarid Damas of Multan and Sind. This coin was discovered at Multan. Extra Fine condition

2

Another small unpublished and unidentified Silver coin, the size of a Damma from Sind/Multan region. The names Yaqoob and Muhammad are legible on obverse  and reverse respectively. Both names within twin circles punctuated by four reverse "S" tamghas on either side. Calligraphy is too stylistic to decipher the text. Appears to be contemporary of the early Qarakhanids or the later Samanids and early Ghaznavids, due to style of calligraphy.

Extra fine condition.
