What's the music like at Mt. Olive?
There's a band of instruments led by piano and guitar (no organ,
sorry). Drums and bass guitar provide the rhythm section. There's
a small ensemble of singers, led by the worship leader.
It's a blend: the
important heritage of "old hymns" - familiar melodies
and words which speak volumes and bring back memories; fresh,
new songs (with emphasis on having something important to say
about God and Christ, not just repetititious choruses devoid
of substance). New arrangements to keep you paying attention
to the Truth within the lyrics. |
