		[ Written by Alex Miller on 12-11-04 ] This song is pretty intense, and though it deals with some real issues, I think it's very joyful over all. What I love about it is the way that is joins beauty and intensity, which is something you'll have to hear before you can understand. That's the way the heart is sometimes, though, especially when it is released from a burden, which is ultimately what this song is about - it's about the way that God can use someone in your life to heal old wounds and bring about new hope, even when you feel utterly alone. 		[ Written by Andrew Richardson on 12-29-04 ] It's been a while...but I did write a new song! It took forever, but it's finally here and hopefully worth the wait. It's something between Bridges & Backroads and The Fall...I'd call it "catchy piano driven punk alt rock Something Corporate Jimmy Eat World"...ish. 		Look In The Mirror
		[ Written by Alex Miller on 12-2-04 ] This is one of the new songs we've come out with since we recorded the album, so if you want to hear it, you'll have to ask us to play it for you! The first verse actually alludes to the fact that the events we talk about in the album (which is going to be called "This Lonely City") are over. Cool, huh? Anyway, it's about living in the wake of a broken heart - how the sadness of loneliness can take it's tool on how you live your life day to day. I know it's kinda sad, but that's sort of what the song's about - life isn't always full of happy endings, and embracing that truth can help us to move on. Verse 1 Broken hearts and shattered crowns Have done their part to bring you down You've walked so far since the stars went out And the lights dark on that lonely town Chorus So who am I supposed to be Now I'm out here on my own? 	The Only Chance That Ever Comes
	[ Written by Alex Miller on 6-5-05 ] I think all the rest of the guys (as well as anyone else who gets the chance to hear this song) will agree with me when I say that this song marks the beginning of something new for us as a group. I don't think we've ever achieved this kind of drive, mix, quality, or complexity before. We hope you'll be as excited to hear this track as we are to get it out to you. Recording to come soon... 		[ Written by Andrew Richardson on 1-4-04 ] If you've heard any of our stuff, you've probably heard this one. It is the signature catchy song--lol. It was one of the first songs I wrote for the band and my first successful attempt at piano rock...it turned out pretty good! Hear Sample Verse 1 I'm driving away from this lonely city; The truth is, I never thought I'd dare. Destination unknown, I climb past sixty; Just wanting to find somewhere. Verse 2 And backroads and bridges are all that I'm taking; The highway is fading away. I'm hoping that maybe there's someone waiting To find me... Chorus Now I'm gone, Moving on, Will my heart let me? Please don't forget me. I don't know Where to go, But my compass is an hourglass, And life goes so fast. Verse 3 I'm travelling over a river of pain, And once again I end up on bad memory lane. I tried to dodge them, but they still remain To find me... Bridge And one of these days I'll find my place, I don't know when or where I'll be, But time will lead me straight to me.

		2. Can't Complain
		[ Written by Alex Miller on 2-1-04 ] I was just messing around one afternoon and this song just fell into my mind. It's about being hopelessly in love: even though she ignores you, you can't complain, you're head over heels for her! 		[ Written by Alex Miller on 1-24-04 ] This is the first song I ever wrote that I was really satisfied with. It's about loving unconditionally, even when someone hurts you. 		[ Written by Andrew Richardson on 4-2-04 ] I've been working on this song for a while, and it's finally to a point that I'm satisfied with it. It's dominated by piano kinda like Bridges and Backroads. It's about waking up one day and realizing the world is broken, trying to do something about it, and realizing that you can't do it alone: you need God! 		[ Written by Alex Miller on 9-7-04 ] This song is my own attempt to put to music the way that the truth of what Christ did for me has changed my whole life - even when I struggle to forget Him completely, His voice is ever calling me home! 		7. The Fall
	[ Written by Andrew Richardson on 7-6-04 ] OK this entire song came to me during work (both guitar parts and all the lyrics just kinda popped into my head)...it was strange. But I wrote it all down and worked it out when I got home, and it turned out to be pretty cool! It's more upbeat than my other stuff--and I'm glad for the variety. Playing games, the runaround Of a hesitant uncertainty Casualty of chemistry Chorus Are we just too scared? 	8. The Last Call
	[ Written by Alex Miller on 7-16-04 ] The Last Call is a song of closure - it's a song to the Lord about letting Him all the way back in my heart. I do have questions, and I do have pain, but He is Lord over all. 	9. Taking Toll
	[ Written by Alex Miller on 6-22-04 ] This song means so much to me. While I was at the beach early this summer, I spent a lot of time walking along the shore looking up at the stars. I had a ton on my mind at the time, and as I wrote this song, I tried to make it sound and feel just like it did to stand on that beach. It's about struggling with memories so good that you don't want to let go, so good that when you have to leave them behind, they take a part of you with them.
