Critic's Corner

Young beginners find these one page pieces (21 Winners) most satisfying and easy to perform with left hand repetition throughout in 5-finger patterns and titles descriptive of the pieces. The intermediate level is slightly more difficult. My students love to play Mary Jane Tashiro's descriptive, delightful and lyrical pieces which motivate while providing solid learning.

Mary Jane Tashiro's Piano Course for Children is an ideal course to push dawdling, bored students to feel successful quickly through her well-written, melodic piano pieces.
Reiko Kawai, Piano Teacher, 30 years

I appreciate Ms.Tashiro's music. It makes teaching easier. I hope she continues to create more.
