Mount Fuji As seen from one of the surrounding five lakes, Fuji-san is always impressive as a symbol of Japan.		When I first got here, I thought I would see Mount Fuji once and be over the thrill. I have to pass by it to get up to Tokyo -- my nose is pressed to the glass every time.
	Shiraito-no-taki Jim took me down to Shiraito, "White Line," Falls since the mountain was closed due to snow fall.
Below the Falls If I could just get across one more rock ... but there is a little problem of distance.		Speaking of ... That's Jim on the right. After the visit to the falls and the lake, we journeyed to an outlet mall in Gotemba.
	Motosuko Lake Motosu lies beneath Fuji along with four other lakes. This one is on the back of the 5,000 yen note.
