The Bandit!
The Bandit is our version of the fabulous "Beatnik Bandit", created by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth back in 1962. This body has been in our catalog for a couple years now, but prior to this year had only been available as a Deluxe body. My thinking on that was that the dome was somewhat hard to fix to the body. However, with all the great modellers out there, this is probably less of an issue than I thought. So with the 2006 catalog, you can order just the basic version and do the trimming and glueing yourself. Another option is click on the $1 glass installation button below and I'll take care of it. The Bandit is an excellent racing body, the miniscule overhang at the rear and domed top help, as do the 1/8" wide rockers...as proved at the NJ Shootout in 2003.

DP is for dual posts, SWB is Short wheelbase, LWB is Long wheelbase, MWB is the center wheelbase position. Bodies are shown mounted on a Fray chassis, unless otherwise specified, .305 fronts and .350 rears.
We have two levels of finish, the basic body is trimmed, untrimmed glass, and without drilled posts.
Drilled posts are available for an additional $2, per body.
Basic body glass installation is available for an additional $1, per body.
