Hayle Eye Welcomes your correspondence and will consider any relevant, suitable material submitted for publication. Hayle Eye will not consider submissions (other than forum posts), unless they contain your real name and some method of contact so that we can confirm authenticity (address, telephone or email address). Your personal details will however, be withheld on your request or may be attributed to a pen-name or pseudonym  for publication purposes. Hayle Eye will not pass your personal details on to any third party without your consent. If you would like to submit an article we can accept text in most formats.

Photographs

If you are including photographs, drawings or diagrams we prefer Jpeg or Gif formats but can accept and convert other formats is required. If you submit photographs then please ensure that you have taken the photograph or have the consent of the copyright owner to submit it to Hayle Eye. By submitting your photograph to Hayle Eye, you give Hayle Eye the right to reproduce it on the Hayle Eye Web Site. Hayle Eye will not claim any other rights and copyright will remain with the original owner. All photographs are reproduced in good faith if you believe the reproduction of a photograph is in breach of copyright please let us know and the offending image will be removed as soon as is reasonably practical.

Forum Posts

The discussion forum is not actually part of Hayle Eye as such but is hosted by Bravenet, a third party provider. Anyone may read  and post messages. The forum does not allow anonymous postings but it does allow you to post messages under a pen-name or pseudonym.  When a user posts a message the IP address of the host is logged by the third party web server but this is not displayed or made public. Please note the views and opinions expressed are wholly owned by the individuals posting them.  Hayle Eye only provides a gateway to the forum which is hosted and managed by Bravenet Web Services. The views expressed may not represent the views of Hayle Eye and Hayle Eye accepts no responsibility for the content of the forum or other external sites over which Hayle Eye has no control. Off topic posts and messages containing 'offensive language' and personal insults may be deleted. Old messages/Topics may be archived or deleted from time to time to conserve space.

Non-Forum Contributions

In submitting material to Hayle Eye, we will assume, unless you specifically indicate otherwise that the correspondence is intended for publication and that by sending the material you are granting Hayle Eye permission to use and reproduce that material as we feel fit. However Hayle Eye does not guarantee to publish all material submitted. Material may be modified abbreviated and/or corrected for editorial purposes, where this is necessary we will endeavour not to change the meaning or intent of your original material.

Material reproduced on Hayle Eye is printed in good faith. Hayle Eye never publishes any material which we do not know or believe to be genuine and true. However, we recognise that mistakes can occasionally happen. If we make a mistake please let us know and we will correct it and issue an apology on the site if appropriate. Material printed may represent personal opinions and these may not necessarily coincide with those of Hayle Eye and should not be taken as such.

Site Updates

We try to update the content of Hayle Eye on a regular basis. whenever the site is updated the 'Site Last Updated' header is changed to reflect the date of publication of the new material, the date does not apply to any specific page. When viewing Hayle Eye from mirror sites and/or content caches, please note that you may not necessarily be viewing the most up-to-date copy as changes may take a little while to propagate to secondary servers.
