Regular readers will remember that SOSHayle expressed concern some time ago about the litter and debris on Hayle Beach. SOSHayle approached Hayle Town Council and the Hayle Harbour Company with a view to adopting Hayle Beach under the Marine Conservation Society Scheme which would have involved regular litter patrols. Both Hayle Town Council and The Hayle Harbour Company refused to have anything to do with the idea despite its popularity in other places. The situation has not improved and the RSPB is now very worried as the page from ITV Teletext shows.
