It is after midnight both EST and CST, so here is the Knightie Summaries Report for Wednesday, 11-17-04 WAR: Knighties: Knightie Apron (1/1) Author: Knightie Katrinka Date: Monday, November 15, 2004 Time: late afternoon, during snowstorm Place: Nick's Loft Kat decides to spice up the boredom caused by the snow by having a cooking contest. She concocts the idea of "Knightie Apron" -- a contest with only one dish, pre-selected ingredients, and no recipe. The recipe of the day: Stone Soup and Biscuits. The competing Knighties do their best, but most of the soup in inedible due to the rocks and stones used as ingredients. Gemsong's soup is delicious, but her biscuits explode! Brooksie tries to oust Kat and Gem from the loft, but Nick insists they stay. Master Cook Eowyn (the only one to work using a recipe) serves her soup, and reveals the secret of "Stone Soup" -- it's a fable. WAR: Knighties: It's A Dog's Life (1/2) Author: Knightie Brooksie Date: Tuesday, November 16, 2004 Time: 7:13am, sunrise Place: Nick's Loft Brooksie gets a call that her new dog, which is in a kennel for the duration of the War, is having major separation anxiety. She decides to drive back to New York to pick him up and bring him to Toronto. The other Knighties are concerned, because it would mean that she'd be gone for two days. Nick comes along and tells her that the DeBrabant Foundation jet is making a commuter run to New York today, and she could hop abroad that and be home in *one* day. Brooksie is excited, as she's never ridden in a private jet, and takes Nick up on his offer. ----------------------------------- ~finis~ Knightie Summaries for 11-17-04 WAR: Cousins/Knighties: Stone in Love (01/01) Authors: Knightie Gemsong and GSS Agent Talon Factions: Knighties/Cousins Date: Friday 11/12/04 Time: Just before dusk After: Rocking the Knight Disclaimers: All participants used with permission. Location: CERK Talon delivers the STONE to Knightie Gemsong at the loft. Gemsong questions the authenticity of said STONE, to which Talon replies, "Post-Its don't lie." Placing it in the garage for Gem, Talon then leaves with the anti-grav sled. Knightie Gem, lost in the moment , decides not to worry about how to get the Stone up to the loft until "tomorrow" a la Scarlet. She heads back inside and "forgets" all about it. WAR: Knighties: Cliff Hanger (1/1) By: Knightie Brooksie Date: November 13, 2004 Time: morning, afternoon, evening Place: the Niagara River area The Knighties....all of them....go on a day long hike around Niagara Falls. They split into groups to cover the most ground, and since the Nextel's were working like a charm, no one would get lost. Happily, a group of knighties find a rock with markings on it. After assembling a primitive lever/fulcrum device, and with the help of two very fine looking Mounties, the knighties finally get the rock turned over. Pictures and rubbings were taken then the group headed back to the loft, pleased with themselves and their contribution to the cause. After all, the knighties would do anything for their Knight. WAR: Knighties: Knight Visitation (1/1) Author: Knightie Sandra Date: November 13, 2004 Time: late afternoon into evening during and after Knighties: Cliff Hanger (1/1) Place: the Loft and the Niagara River area With the loft devoid of knighties, Nick has an angst-fest. He worries about the knighties safety, his dreams of Marian Blackwing, and LaCroix's plans to thwart his efforts at finding a cure. When the sun goes down, Nick takes to the sky and searches for his faction. He arrives at Niagara, only to be forced face-first into some rocks by a rather nasty and hostile wind. Once again, he sees Marian, this time in a waking spirit walk. She warns him that the stone brings danger, but to him or the knighties he doesn't know. As she is lifted into the sky, her parting words ring out "Beware the false stone." Nick shouts, and the knighties come running. None of them saw Marian and there are too many questions to be answered in the cold woods, so Brooksie tells them all to pack up and head back to the loft. WAR: Knighties: Sweet Revenge (1/1) Author: Knightie Katrinka Date: November 14, 2004 Time: early morning Place: Nick's Loft Katrinka plotted revenge, dark revenge for whoever had attacked the knighties. First, she would need the help of Gemsong and her exploding cookies. After many attempts to wake the 2IC, Kat resorted to butter and Clifford, much to Gem's dismay. Once awake, Gemsong decided to make her notorious cookies, so she headed to the kitchen. The plan was simple, attack them all...... WAR: Knighties: A Dog Washing Tail (1/1) Author: Knightie Katrinka Date: November 14, 2004 Time: 5 PM Place: Nick's Loft Something was smelling up the loft, something very stinky. After a search of the loft, the stinky something was discovered to be Clifford. Once again, he would need a bath. It took five knighties to get the dog into the tub of tomato juice. After that, the soapy water, but Clifford broke free and landed in the dirt. Once he was clean, the knighties had a water fight.
