The Knighties clean up from the dog washing/water fight and head
inside. Brooksie takes a moment to remember her twenty-five years of
service with the company that made Tomcats, flashback courtesy of the
Mercs, as they had been flying the F-14 in the gorge while the
knighties searched for the stone.

 
WAR: Knighties: Festive Lights and Carnival Nights (1/1)

Summary: Nancy, Sandra, Cindy, and Debbi take off to enjoy a night at
the NA Carnival. Upon arriving, they chow down on souvlaki, and then
partake of the rides and games available. They buy raffle tickets,
but, sadly, win nothing. Still, a good time was had all around.
Refreshed, they return to the War.

Nick goes to the NA carnival after some coaxing from the knighties. He
and Nat talk; about the "cure," Marian Blackwing, and what would
happen with Janette and LaCroix should the cure work. Nick tries to
reassure Nat with a kiss, but she seems unconvinced. The raffle
winners are to be announced and Nat grabs a stack of tickets from her
purse for the "Win a date with Nick" raffle. 


WAR: Knighties: Revenge Is A Dish Best Served With Cookies  (1/1)

Place: the Loft and the Jeweled Peach
The Jeweled Peach, M. Cabon, Patt and Lisl used with the permission of
the NA

Gemsong makes her famous exploding cookies, and she and Katrinka dress
up in disguise to deliver them. Brooksie hands them a box that also
needs delivering, and Kat wonders what she is up to. Finally, Brooksie
relents and tells them the box contains Clifford's skunky dog hair,
left over from the bath. Won't the NA's be surprised? They arrive at
the Jeweled Peach, deliver the goods, then watch from across the
street for the inevitable. Two unsuspecting NA's try the cookies,
which are HOT, and spill the trays on the floor in their rush for
water. Explosions ensue, covering the NA's with chocolate chips. At
this point the NA's see the perpetrators and the chase is on. The
knighties have to contend with their costumes as they run, but as luck
would have it, the NA's fall all over each other and are only able to
toss some snow at the retreating knighties. The knighties don't wait
around to see what becomes of the box that Brooksie sent.

Summary: Nancy delivers some of Gemsong's famous exploding chocolate
chip
cookies to the CERK HQ, with Debbi as her getaway driver. Cousinly
Receptionist Bonnie receives the package and opens it to discover a
bobble
head Nick and a mysterious note/poem. She samples the cookies but
accidentally knocks the box from her desk, causing the contents to
explode as
they hit the floor, taking out the corner of her desk and a stack of
nearby
boxes.
