During morning coffee, a couple of the newbie addicts describe their "close encounters" with
their vampire bunkmates.  Patt also remembers how Spark, the Sheltie, snuck into her trailer,
caused a returning Sapo to have an alergic reaction and Kriel to get bitten on the nose.

Patt gathers up Lavalianna, Cousin Tser's burrow, and heads for the woods, planning to pan for
gold.  

The rock searching addicts break off into two groups and are transported by helicopter to their
relative locations by Captain Jake Wren.  Dee, Lisl and Cheyenne head for the Thunder Bay
area, east of Toronto.  Beverley, Krista and Katherine head south, toward Lake Erie.  

The group headed by Beverley gets lost and wanders around until after dark. They see a campfire
and try to creep up there to see who it is.  After a few moments of trauma, they discover that it is
Patt's camp, and all share a repast.  Wren comes flying to the rescue and the lost Addicts head
for home.  Patt stays at the camp.  LaCroix comes to visit Patt, and chastises the Third Cousin
for the way she is acting.
