With the majority of the Knighties away, Gem has some
quiet time to herself and decides to make a mocha.
Nick arrives, and reassures Gem that she will be fine
being in charge while Brooksie is away.  She then
questions Nick on the many 'what if's' that may happen
if the rock is found. After a brief angst fest for
both of them, Gem assures Nick that his Knighties will
be his Knighties no matter the outcome.

Knighties:  A Run for the Border (01/01)

Place:  Mr. Oleson's farm; Niagara Falls, Ontario; and
Buffalo, NY

 Nancy is left at the Oleson farm as the rest of the
Knighties mount up for their day of questing for the
mysterious carved rock. Bored, she realizes that
Buffalo, NY, is less than an hour's drive away, and
decides to make a run for the border to pick up a
supply of caffeine-loaded Diet Mountain Dew. She
returns with the van full; there's barely enough room
left for the Knighties.

Knighties:  The Game Is Afoot, Or Is It A Rock?  (2a

Place:  On the highway to Mr. Olesons farm, somewhere
around Niagara Falls

 Knightie road trip! The Knightie crew arrives at the
Oleson farm to return the trailor that the N&Npack
left at the loft.  Grateful for the (reasonably) safe
return of his rig, Mr. Oleson agrees to loan all the
ladies, sans Nancy, horses so they can look for a
cliff with indian pictographs. Mr. Oleson's son,
Anders, leads the Knightie crew into the woods, to a
certain point, and then heads home, leaving them to
fend for themselves.


Left to fend for themselves in the wilds, the girls
debate on heading back, or moving on and looking for
the pictographs. With their trusty cellphones still
working, they decide to go on. They can see a white
cliff in the distance and ride towards it through the
woods. After hours of riding they finally reach their
destination, only to discover that the cliff is not
white, it was just a play of light. After a look
around, and a break for classic Knightie style angst,
they realize they are out in the boonies, with who
knows what, when Kat's dog begins to growl, bark, and
finally bolt into the woods. They all  mount up to
look for him, when Kat's horse spooks and bolts too,
so the Knightie cowgirls give chase. Finally, they
catch Kat's horse, and find Kat's dog...by the smell.
He's been skunked. Ewww. Add to that, now they are
lost, and no cell service either.
