This appeared in a South African newspaper during Chang's tour in 1939. Obviously posed photographs but an effective publicity stunt, nonetheless. It says: "At a Johannesburg reception Chang, the renowned magician, presented a bowl of flowers to the young woman in the picture. She was just about to take it when it disappeared! Magicians are like that."
