Diagnostics
The following links are to a diagnostic test that will let you determine on your own whether you might benefit from usingt English Beyond the Basics. Print out the diagnostic test and follow the directions at the top. After you have filled out the test, print out the key and grade yourself. (Please note, if you consult the key prior to taking the Diagnostic Test, it could distort the results.) If you have missed more than 15 (25 percent), you might want to consider purchasing the book. If you would like to see an examination copy, check at the reserve desk at any of the five El Paso Community College Libraries.
