Epilogue
All in all we traveled 10,400 miles on this journey. We were on the road for 222 hours, spent $880 on gasoline, and stayed at 24 campgrounds for a total cost of $264.
Left on September 21 and returned on October 19. A long trip, yes, but worth it. We are making a list of places we want to revisit - the Utah canyons are definitely included, as is Glacier National Park.
The "where I have camped" map on the side of the van is filling up.
