I hereby affirm my belief in the Holy word of God regarding marriage, and I pledge to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, so I will be able to rule my household in a manner pleasing to Him. I will place the needs of my wife and my children above my own, and make sure they are loved, protected, and provided for, at all times. I promise to be a loving husband and father, so I will be diligent in maintaining a stable and safe environment in our home. I will be consistent regarding the rules and discipline policies I have established for all of my household members to abide by. I will love and respect my wife at all times, and dedicate myself to making her aware she is loved, cherished, and treasured, as a precious living jewel and gift, from God. I will value her counsel, and take time to listen to her side of any issues she deems to be important. I will never use my authority over her as an excuse to belittle, or abuse her trust in me.
I hereby affirm my belief in the Holy word of God regarding marriage, and pledge my love, my respect, and my obedience, to my husband. He has been ordained of God to rule our household, and I promise to abide by all of his decisions and cooperate with him at all times as we journey through life together.
I am ordained of God to be my husband's helpmeet, his lover, and I dedicate myself to bringing up our children in a way pleasing unto the Lord. I will teach our children to obey all lawful authority, and readily submit to correction for their offenses.
