COMMENTARY:

Jesus told us believers in New Testament times, are GREATER than those who lived in prior dispensations.

Luke 7:28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.in the prior generations:

This being the case should not "about to be parents" be EXTRA CAREFUL regarding their lifestlye choices, as many new born babies are born with problems resulting from the bad habits their parents have. Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and even certain foods, can cause your children to suffer in many ways.

All children born to believers are "set apart" by God, and should be treated as such. What you do before and after they arrive here on earth, is something God will take VERY SERIOUSLY. The verse below is not just about physical or sexual abuse, as any parent who is a bad role-model before their chidren is GUILTY of a grave sin.

Mark 9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
