COMMENTARY:

John 3:17 says when Jesus came to earth, He had SALVATION on His mind. He died, was buried, and resurrected, so we could be forgiven of our sins, and become part of His body. (the Body of Christ) It is His desire for all to be saved, but many resist or refuse the gift of eternal life He offers us.

If you choose to remain in our sins, Jesus tells us in John 17:9, He won't even PRAY FOR YOU! Can you imagine how bad it can get, when even the Son of God refuses to even pray for you? Why not become a child of God and live under His blessings, and His protection?

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire..

What a shame it would be to die in your sins, with the knowledge of what Jesus has done on your behalf. Excuses won't cut it at the judgment, only the blood of Jesus can cover your sins...

Need forgiveness for your sins? If so, you can repent of your sins, and receive Jesus Christ as both Lord and Saviour. The gospel of salvation is simple, and it clearly tells us how sinners can be made into a "new-creation" in-Christ:
