Jesus Died And Was Buried, But He Was Resurrected As Promised!

COMMENTARY:

Verse 63 shows how "lost" the leaders of the synagogue were, as they referred to the Lord Jesus Christ as a DECEIVER!

Verse 64 tells us how fallen man are really the DECEIVED ones, as they thought they could outsmart God and prevent the resurrection.

Verse 65 shows both "church" and secular government were in a conspiracy, to insure Jesus stayed in the grave He was placed into.

Verse 66 They followed up with their plans to secure the grave site, and even posted guards to MAKE SURE Jesus stayed in it!

SO WHAT HAPPENED?

Acts 10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Can you imagine how upset these church and government leaders were, seeing God showed Jesus OPENLY?

Can you imagine HOW HAPPY this makes true believers, KNOWING they are forgiven and made into "new creations" in-Christ?

Praise the Lord!
