SHOULD WE WARN PEOPLE ABOUT HELL?

We live in a day and time when preaching about hell and eternal damnation has become "politically-incorrect," even in many churches. While the love of God and His plan of salvation must always be the focus of our message to the lost, we also need to WARN the lost about the reality of hell for those who die in their sins.

Do you want to face a Holy God and have to explain why you did not blow the trumpet, and warn others concerning the terrible danger of living life as an unbeliever? Since Jesus preached more about hell than heaven, don't you believe He wants us tell sinners about their future without Jesus Christ?

While I fully understand no one can be "scared into heaven," the knowledge hell exists is important to every human being, Even believers need to be reminded about hell, so they will have a burden for the souls of the unsaved who are only one heartbeat from eternity in the lake of fire. Are you going to follow after Jesus, or neglect your obligation to preach THE WHOLE of the word of God? If you will not warn the lost about hell you are truly falling short in the eyes of God, and your hands will be bloody because of it...

Luke 16
27: Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Even this resident of hell wants to warn others about this place of torment, how can any BELIEVER remain silent regarding it?

Need forgiveness for your sins? If so, you can repent of your sins, and receive Jesus Christ as both Lord and Saviour. The gospel of salvation is simple, and it clearly tells us how sinners can be made into a "new-creation" in-Christ:
