ARE YOU DRESSED FOR BATTLE?

Can you imagine how long a fire fighter would last fighting a fire, if they attempted to battle it without wearing their special protective clothing, and other gear?
As with a space suit worn by an astronaut, it takes 100% integrity of the special clothing and gear to provide any true degree of protection. Leave out any part of the clothing and equipment, and the individual wearing the incomplete suit and gear will surly die if they enter a hostile environment like fire or outer space.
"The protection" offered by such clothing and equipment allows a mere human being to stand in the presence of forces that would normally terminate them within a few seconds of exposure.
This being the case, any true believer who "suits up" with the armor of God should feel totally secure in-Christ. While by default human beings are weak as compared to the devil and his angels, believers are a new-creation in-Christ with authority OVER the powers of darkness!
Put on the whole armor of God which I believe includes the robe of righteousness, and the helmet of salvation, and watch the enemy flee before your very eyes…

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

REMEMBER:
David killed Goliath with a small stone. Think what you should be able to do with Jesus Christ, the ROCK of ages!
