The scriptures above, tell of Christians who were willing to suffer greatly, and even die for their faith. Even in our day and time, MANY still suffer and die rather than too stop preaching the gospel, and ministering to the lost. (visit www.persecution.com )

The scriptures below, tell us Christians should EXPECT to suffer for Jesus Christ at times. (and possibly die for their faith)

My question is, why do so many who claim they would suffer and die for their faith refuse to even LIVE for Christ? Those who live a worldly lifestyle, will never stand up for the very same Lord they DENY every day by their words, deeds, and actions. If you really cannot DIE for Christ, you certainly can't LIVE for Him either...

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

By default, this means MANY who claim to be believers are self deceived and in need of salvation...
(don't get scared, get saved!)

Need forgiveness for your sins? If so, you can repent of your sins, and receive Jesus Christ as both Lord and Saviour. The gospel of salvation is simple, and it clearly tells us how sinners can be made into a "new-creation" in-Christ:
