SUICIDE IS NOT AN EXIT FROM A LIFE OF PAIN & MISERY
I deal with many troubled people, and far too many of the seem to believe suicide is a way out of their problems. Please read this article I wrote, BEFORE you throw your life away and learn the truth the HARD WAY:SUICIDE IS NOT AN EXIT FROM A LIFE OF PAIN & MISERY Many people foolishly assume suicide is an exit from a problem filled life, and the gateway to an eternity of nothingness. The truth is NOTHING ever ceases to exist, and even scientists know this to be a fact. Since we will exist for eternity, only a very foolish person would want to dwell in a place that offers even MORE misery and pain than they could possibly endure here on earth. Every time someone takes their own life, they slap God and everyone they CLAIM to love in the face. Suicide is the most selfish act a person can commit, as it causes a lot of grief and tears for others who love and care about them. Suicide is the beginning of eternal problems, and it is not a cure for temporal ones. Everything, and every wicked person who ever lived, will be your neighbor forever, if you take your own life. Any type of misery you may have suffered on earth will be magnified a million times or more, in a place you will reside in FOREVER. One second after you take your life, your will beg God to restore your life. Sadly, it will be too late for you. The enemy of your soul will dance and shout gleefully, as he watches your react in horror after seeing the reality of your eternal fate. Even people who died because of circumstances beyond their control, will mock you for casting away life as if it were garbage! People who burned alive in the twin towers will HATE you for caring so little for life, as the lost souls who died in the tragedy already know what you have just discovered. Life is precious, and salvation is ONLY offered to us while we live and reside here on earth. They will despise you for throwing away something they only WISH they could retrieve. Most people who have serious problems here on earth, are those who attempt to live life without the guidance and the salvation God has made available to everyone. When "we do our own thing" and assume we can do good on our own, it is like smoking cigarettes in a pool of gasoline. Eventually, we will ignite the very fire that will destroy us. No matter if you believe in God or not, the fact is suicide is not a way out of your troubles. As long as you live, you have options available to you. Many people who came close to committing suicide, now have wonderful testimonies regarding how life changed after they decided to "stick it out" instead of giving up. Parents, friends, and spouses, may not treat you the way you feel they should, but taking your own life is mistreating YOURSELF in the most violent and long lasting way possible. The rich man in hell begged Abraham to send someone back to earth to warn his brothers, so they would not have to endure what he was experiencing for eternity. (see Luke 16, beginning at verse 19) If you think you have troubles now, you really know NOTHING about the things to come after death. If you did, you would quake in fear and thank God for every heartbeat! Suicide is not an exit, it is the entrance to the bottomless pit God wants you to avoid at all costs. Some people speculate as to the answer to the question of, "do ALL people who commit suicide go to hell?" I believe God knows the heart, and ONLY God can understand and deal with people who commit suicide because of mental illness and other things we cannot fully understand. By default, hell is the domain for those who take their own life. If you want to chance being an exception to this rule, you most likely think you can win the lottery too… p.s. The ANSWER to all of your problems is: John chapter 3 15: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
